Terms of use

These terms apply to the Haven Select LLC website and referral services. By submitting a request or application, you agree to these terms.

Our role

Haven Select connects homeowners with independent contractors. We do not perform, manage, contract for, or warranty construction. An introduction does not create a construction agreement, agency relationship with a contractor, or guarantee of qualifications, workmanship, price, timing, or project outcome.

Your decisions and contractor agreements

You decide whether to meet or hire a contractor. Before hiring, verify applicable licensing, insurance, references, permits, scope, price, and other qualifications. Any estimates, agreements, deposits, payments, work, warranties, and disputes are between you and the contractor. No match, response time, or contractor availability is guaranteed.

Fees and referral relationships

Homeowners do not pay Haven Select for matching. Participating contractors pay referral fees to Haven Select. Contractors set their own project prices and terms. Applying as a contractor does not guarantee acceptance, exclusivity, referrals, or a volume of work. Partner fees and obligations require a separate agreement.

Submissions and communications

Provide accurate information that you are authorized to share. You grant Haven Select permission to use submitted information and photos to process your request; we share them only with contractors you specifically approve for an introduction and only when sharing is authorized. Do not submit confidential third-party information or unlawful material. Communication consent covers email and manual calls about your request; it does not authorize automated calls or marketing texts.

Website information

Website content is general information. Project photographs are illustrative inspiration, not a portfolio of work completed or managed by Haven Select. Service availability varies. We may change the site and these terms; the effective date identifies the current version.

Homeowner tools and launch availability

Select Bid Check organizes facts explicitly stated in original proposals and written clarification. It does not establish price fairness, completeness, technical adequacy, contractor suitability or legal compliance. Contractor Check records available public facts, sources, dates and limits; missing information is not a finding of wrongdoing. Budget guidance requires documented data; no supported local pricing ranges are currently available. Project readiness is an organizational checklist, not a professional construction feasibility assessment.

Document reviews and appointment coordination are manual at launch. Automated AI extraction, email reminders, homeowner accounts, Home Passport storage and partner dashboards are not activated. Core homeowner services are initially free. Referral fees are privately agreed with contractors; no fixed 7% rate is applied. Agency and Realtor participation is unpaid, and no agent commissions, appointment deposits or financial penalties are collected.

Insurance boundaries

Haven Select does not interpret coverage, prepare or submit claims, negotiate claims, act as a public adjuster, determine covered damage, promise reimbursement, represent a carrier or guarantee repair costs. Independent contractors contract directly with homeowners. Contact your insurer or an appropriate professional about coverage and claims.
