Haven Select LLC is a veteran-owned contractor referral company serving Middle Tennessee. This policy explains how we handle information submitted through this website.

What we collect

We collect the information you provide: name, email, optional phone number, project category, city and ZIP code, budget, timing, project description, optional photos, and consent choices. Real estate partner introductions may include the referring professional’s business and contact details, client contact details, project stage, relevant deadline, and an attestation of client permission. We confirm homeowner permissions before contractor introductions and require homeowner authorization before providing agent status updates. Contractor applications may include business name, website, services, service area, and experience or qualification details. Please do not submit financial account information, identification documents, or other sensitive information.

New service requests and documents

Select Bid Check accepts original proposal PDFs and images for private human review. Contractor Check records business identifiers and requested public-record questions. Partner applications include agency details; contractor applications include capacity, interview responses and self-reported credentials. Referral parameters are attribution signals, not partner identity verification or permission to access homeowner data. Home Passport accounts and personal document libraries are not active. No uploaded documents are sent to an AI service in this launch version.

How we use information

We use submissions to review requests, communicate about them, consider contractor introductions or applications, maintain records, and protect our services. We record the submission date and consent wording version. Our private working records may include follow-up dates, contractor-specific introduction approvals, written clarification references, comparison-review records, contractor responsiveness, missed appointments, estimate delivery, and homeowner feedback. We use these records to support your request and inform future referrals. A hashed network identifier is kept briefly to limit abusive submissions. We do not use submitted photos for public marketing without separate permission.

Contractor introductions and fees

When you separately authorize sharing and approve a specific contractor introduction, we may share your project details, contact information, and submitted photos with that independent contractor so they can discuss your project with you. We do not automatically distribute leads. Without permission and approval, we will contact you before sharing. Participating contractors pay referral fees; matching is free for homeowners. Contractors are independent businesses and their own privacy practices apply after receiving your information.

Service providers and storage

Website hosting and storage providers process information to operate the site. When you enter a complete ZIP code, our server sends that ZIP code to Zippopotam.us to suggest a city; your name, contact details, project description, and photos are not included in that lookup. Submissions are stored in a database and photos in restricted file storage. The owner inbox requires authorized sign-in. We may disclose information when legally required or needed to protect our rights. We do not sell personal information for unrelated third-party marketing.

Retention and choices

New uploaded review files have a 90-day retention period from submission, after which scheduled cleanup deletes their private storage objects. Request details and necessary consent/history records are retained while needed for the request, business records and legal obligations. Automated cleanup requires the deployed daily schedule; contact us if you need earlier deletion. We do not publish anonymized pricing data without checking its source and re-identification risk. You can request access, correction, deletion, or withdrawal of future sharing consent through our contact form. Withdrawal cannot undo information already shared. We may need to verify your identity and retain information where required by law.

Cookies and other services

No advertising trackers or marketing analytics are added by this website. Hosting and Cloudflare Access owner sign-in may use essential cookies. Fonts and illustrative images load from Google Fonts and Unsplash, whose services may receive browser network information. This site is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
